About Contacts

Contacts are used for receiving alerts (see About Alerts) and reports (see Reports).

The first contact in your Monitis account is created automatically based on your sign-up data, using the email address that you have provided as your login name.

You can add then more contacts of different types (see Adding Contacts). The added contacts can not log-in and do not have access to the Monitis Dashboard.

The number of contacts is not limited: you can add as many contacts as you want.

You can configure Alert Rules to send automatic alerts to your predefined contacts whenever your monitors fail or recover (see About Alert Rules and Adding Alert Rules).
